Random Eats, Free Snapple and Popsicle Toasts – NYC

by sara on July 28, 2012

I still don’t know what bastardo means in Italiano but I make Jason pose every time I see it.

You can’t see the drool from this angle but this was the line we waited in to get 53rd & 6th Halal Cart rice bowls.

I miss you NYC.  Mostly because of your bearded street vendors but also because of your secret sauce.

We were walking down the street one day and the Snapple peeps were giving out free drinks!

Unfortunately, I didn’t like their new flavor (Cherry Pomegranate) but that didn’t stop me from trying to get 6 of them shoved down my bra.

Here we toasted to successfully stretching our bellies enough to make room for popsicles from People’s Pops in Chelsea Market.

We went to the following Korean restaurant because it came highly recommended, Jason likes fried chicken and because we like saying the name, “Boka Bon Chon.”

The combo hot/garlic fried chicken was awesome and totally different from your usual slop from Plucker’s.

I had a pork bi bim bob.  Kimchi breath makes me feel ladylike.

We almost had the most awkward public fight ever when Jason refused to pose.  Thankfully, my kimchi breath was a weapon and I won.

Eat more tofu.

This church had burglar bars and it made it look like Mary was in the slammer 🙁

I’m not even hungry right now and I’m debating driving up to NYC tonight to eat 5 plates worth of chicken and rice.
